Stephen is the only air rifle slug manufacturer that I know of who swages slug that are designed to concentrically seal the grooves of the barrel. There slugs were designed for Lothar Walther barrels that have a land/groove diameter of .248/.254. I’m shooting these slugs in my modified AF Condor. The slugs are the 40gr .254 cup base. The barrel is a Russian Republic carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a twist of 1:15 and a land/groove diameter of .247/.252. I tuned my gun to shoot these slugs, and the results are nothing short of astounding. I have hole in hole accuracy at 40 yards. My 10 shot group had a center to center spread of .2835″. That equates to a .71″ group at 100 yards (i.e. sub MOA). Stephen doesn’t just make righteous slugs. He’s an intellect, an innovator, and a pioneer to the sport. I’m sold on his product, and I need not look elsewhere with results like what I’ve achieved with his slugs. In the world of fishing, there’s an old saying: You don’t leave fish to catch fish. If you haven’t tested his slugs, you’re missing out on what could be the difference between close and laser pinpoint accuracy.
